“We Love Boobies!” Contest

These next couple of months, we are spotlighting two genuses of sea birds that are silly, colorful, and the names can easily bring a smile to one’s face. We are talking about boobies! Genus Sula and Genus Papasula will be featured for the WildLife Warrior’s “We Love Boobies!” Contest. Only Abbott’s Booby is endangered but we thought it would be fun to feature all of them.

The seven booby species are:
Abbott’s Booby (Endangered) [link]

Masked Booby [link]
Nazca Booby [link]
Peruvian Booby [link]
Red-Footed Booby [link]

Rules:
Draw one or more of the booby species listed in its natural environment, reflecting the information about it found on the internet, books, or peer reviewed journals. This can be their mating dances, fishing, eating, ect.
It must be a new picture. It cannot be one you already have in your gallery. Only submissions after March 2 are accepted.
Open to everyone but prizes will only be given to members. If you would like to join as a member, say so on your entry description, and it will be done.
Entries will be judged by creativity. Members will win the prizes and there will be non-member honorable mentions as well.
Submit your entry by sending a note titled "Contest Entry" and it will be posted to the club.
Contest begins March 2 and ends July 2.

We need people to donate prizes to make this even better! If you donate a prize, you are still eligible to participate as a contestant. Either comment on the announcement picture, news article, or send a note with your donation information (free request, drawing, sketch, avatar, ect) so we can add you to the list.
